Marble exports increased by 54% in the year 2017 compared to the year 2016, accounting for 95% of the company's turnover.
At parent company level, turnover increased by 50% to € 47.6 million, compared to € 31.7 million in the previous year, EBITDA for the year 2017 amounted to € 19.03 million compared to € 7 million, € 47 million in the previous year, a 155% increase, and earnings before tax amounted to € 14.91 million compared to € 1.41 million, up 957%.
Correspondingly, on a consolidated basis, turnover increased by 44.9% to EUR 51.72 million compared to EUR 35.70 million in the previous year, EBITDA for the year 2017 amounted to EUR 20.28 million, EUR 8.69 million in the previous year, showing an increase of 130.2% and earnings before taxes amounted to EUR 14.60 million against EUR 3.68 million, an increase of 296%.
