Pursuant to laws 3556/2007 and 3340/2005, including article 2 of decision No. 3/347/12.7.2005 by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, IKTINOS HELLAS SA would like to inform investors that by virtue of a decision by its Board of Directors, the company will participate in the capital increase of its wholly-owned subsidiary, ID.E.H SA (Private Power Corporation), fully exercising its rights and maintaining its control by paying the amount of €9,000,000. Following a decision by its Ordinary General Meeting which took place on June 24th 2008, ID.E.I SA shall increase its capital through cash payment amounting to €9,000,000 that is broken down as follows: a) share capital amounting to €900,000 through the issuance of new shares at a nominal value of €60 each and a proportioned right of three (3) new shares for one (1) old one, and b) €8,100,000 at a par value corresponding to the difference between the share's nominal value i.e. €60 per share and purchase value i.e. €600 per share, so as to begin the implementation of the investment program involving the establishment of a 19.8 MW wind park which should begin operations in mid 2009. Following the abovementioned increase, the company’s share capital will amount to one million two hundred thousand euros (€1,200,000) divided into 20,000 nominal shares of a nominal value of sixty euros (€60,00) each. Apart from holding a license for the said wind park with 19.80 MW nominal installed capacity at the Megalovouni area of the Nikiforos Municipality in the Drama Prefecture, ID.E.I SA also holds a licence for an 8.0 MW wind park at the Synora area of the Nikiforos Municipality in the Drama Prefecture, which is in the process of obtaining an installation licence. IKTINOS HELLAS S.A., as part of its plan to reinforce its presence in the Renewable Energy Sources sector and given its exclusive collaboration with an expert technical consultant firm, has scheduled, through ID.E.H SA, the development of new wind parks of an installed capacity of 150 - 200 MW within the next three years. The development of these new projects is already underway. To this end, applications for the issuance of production licences for wind parks with a total installed capacity of 40 MW shall have been submitted to the competent Authorities by December 2008.
